The Eggshell lesson

India celebrates National Youth Day on January 12th to honor Swami Vivekananda's birthday. He was a remarkable figure who greatly impacted education and youth empowerment in India.

From Swami Vivekananda, we can learn courage, determination, hard work, and patriotism. His teachings remain relevant and continue to inspire people from various backgrounds.

One lesson emphasized by Swami Vivekananda, particularly important in our era of quick content, is about focus. In the United States, he noticed boys struggling to hit an eggshell with stones from a bridge. Despite their failed attempts, Swami Ji succeeded every time he tried. When asked his secret, he calmly said, "Give your full attention to whatever you're doing."

This lesson is vital today, as short social media content often distracts us. We become easily bored and this impacts not only our media consumption but also our daily choices.

For example, people are shifting from reading books to preferring audio-visual content because our minds seek constant change to stay engaged.

Remember Swami Vivekananda's words, "Give your full attention to whatever you're doing." Applying this can bring about positive changes in our lives.

This is a short blog. Let's meet again in the next Long blog, where we'll delve into new topics, explore fresh perspectives, and continue this journey of discovery together. Until then, take care, follow your dreams, and embrace the beauty of time's flow. See you soon!

Thanks,
Jariya Armaan
