Lesson from Swami Vivekananda
Hello to my brothers and sisters, today you are going to learn a very impressive quality from this blog. This blog is about the real-life incident of Swami Vivekananda. In this story kind attitude of Swamiji is illustrated.
Once, Swami Vivekananda was traveling with a few disciples on a train. They were on a long journey, and the compartment they were in was very crowded. As the journey progressed, a person in the compartment began to disturb and insult Swami Vivekananda. He used foul language and made fun of Swami Vivekananda's appearance and teachings.
The disciples were getting increasingly disturbed and wanted to confront the troublemaker. However, Swami Vivekananda remained calm and composed throughout the ordeal. He did not react to the insults or engage in an argument.
As the train continued its journey, the man's behavior became more aggressive. He even threw some food at Swami Vivekananda. However, Swami Vivekananda still maintained his composure and did not redress.
Finally, the man got tired of his behavior and asked Swami Vivekananda, "Why are you not reacting to my provocations? Aren't you angry?"
Swami Vivekananda replied with a smile, "Brother, I am truly sorry if I have caused you any discomfort. But I cannot accept your anger and insults. These are yours to keep. I only accept what I wish to take."
The man was taken aback by Swami Vivekananda's response. He realized the stupidity of his actions and felt ashamed of his behavior. He apologized to Swami Vivekananda and the disciples for his actions.
The moral of the story is that Swami Vivekananda's unwavering equilibrium and wisdom taught us the power of not reacting to negativity with negativity. Instead, he showed that responding with kindness and grace can transform a hostile situation into a peaceful one and inspire positive change in others.
Let's meet again in the next blog, where we'll delve into new topics, explore fresh perspectives, and continue this journey of discovery together. Until then, take care, follow your dreams, and embrace the beauty of time's flow. See you soon!
Thanks,
Armaan jariya
